Delivered Life Ministries, Inc. ("DLM," "we," "us") respects the people we serve. This policy explains what information we handle through our website, deliveredlifeministries.com, and through the live chat of our weekly YouTube broadcast, DLM THE CALL. It also explains how that information is used and what choices you have.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
1. Information We Handle
When you visit our website
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
- Embedded YouTube player. Our live and replay video is provided by YouTube. When you play it, YouTube may set cookies and collect information under Google's Privacy Policy.
- Podcast and Bible study links. Our podcast episodes are served from RSS.com, and The Armory Bible study meets on Microsoft Teams. If you use those services, their own privacy policies apply.
When you use "Ask DLM"
Ask DLM is an AI-assisted tool that answers questions about our teaching. When you submit a question, the text you type is sent through our server to Anthropic's Claude service so it can generate a response. Please do not enter sensitive personal details such as health, financial, or contact information. We do not require you to sign in or give your name to use Ask DLM.
When you take part in DLM THE CALL live chat
During our YouTube live broadcasts, we use a chat-moderation tool connected to our channel through the YouTube API Services. With the permission our channel granted it, the tool:
- reads the public chat messages and public display names posted during the broadcast;
- posts welcome messages, reminders, and replies on behalf of the ministry;
- removes messages and times out or blocks accounts that violate our chat standards, especially scams and people pretending to be DLM leadership; and
- flags messages that ask for prayer, salvation, healing, or urgent help so a member of our ministry team can respond personally.
Flagged messages are shown on a private dashboard used only by our ministry team during the broadcast. The tool also keeps a record of the actions it took — a display name, a channel ID, and the text of a flagged message — in files on a single computer operated by the ministry. Section 5 explains how long those records are kept. Live chat messages are public on YouTube, and YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy govern how YouTube handles them.
2. How We Use Information
- To deliver our broadcasts, website, and teaching resources.
- To keep our live chat safe, respectful, and free of fraud and impersonation.
- To make sure people who ask for prayer or help can be reached by a real person.
- To maintain the security and performance of our systems.
We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individual viewers.
3. Who Information Is Shared With
We share information only with the service providers that make these tools work, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Google / YouTube: video, live chat, and API services
- Anthropic: the AI service behind Ask DLM and our teaching tools
- Bluehost: website hosting
- RSS.com: podcast hosting
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is necessary to protect someone's safety.
4. Your Choices
- Live chat: You can watch the broadcast without chatting. You can also delete your own chat messages through YouTube.
- Google/YouTube permissions: If you ever granted an app access to your Google account, you can review or revoke that access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Questions or requests: You can contact us to ask about, or ask us to delete, any information we hold that relates to you.
5. How Long We Keep Information
Live chat records
The records described in section 1 — a display name, a channel ID, and the text of a flagged message — are held in files on a single computer operated by the ministry. They are not published, and they are not stored on this website.
On the first Saturday of each month we move those records out of the live system into a dated archive on that same computer, and we delete archives once they are more than three months old. An archive is occasionally kept longer only where someone has asked us to continue following up with them.
Ask DLM
We do not store your questions. What you type is sent to our server, which passes it straight to Anthropic and returns the answer to you. Nothing is written to a file or a database along the way, and nothing identifying you is sent with your question.
Your conversation with Ask DLM exists only in your own browser, and it is gone when you close or refresh the page. As with any website, our host’s standard server logs record that a request was made and the address it came from; those logs do not contain the text of your question.
Asking us to delete something
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it, by writing to info@deliveredlifeministries.com.
6. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Parents who believe their child has shared information with us may contact us, and we will delete it.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the systems and keys that run our services. However, no online service can guarantee complete security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our ministry tools change. The effective date above will always show the latest version.
