Territory Warfare

Territorial Warfare

It’s essential to understand warfare of the land or the earth realm; this is territorial warfare.  (Joshua 1:3-6) describes several points that relate to territorial war.  The Hebrew word for land is Erets, which means earth or physical planet.  The Hebrew word for the coast is Gebul, which means enclosed territory.  Joshua’s perimeters were his territorial blessing; if he stepped out of it, this would become a curse.  To experience God’s perfect will, we have to be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing with the right people.  It is true “that all things work out for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” (Rom 8:28), but God is a strategist, and He has a perfect plan for our lives.

  • Prayer connects what happens in the heavens to the earth. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
  • Sin affects the state of the land.
  • The land can be either whole, or it needs healing.
  • There is an anointing in our feet to possess or coast (territory)
  • The territory God gives us is generational.
  • In the land of our coast (territory), there is total victory.
