When we exercise what God promises, He will fulfill the need. Oftentimes we forget what God promises, because we only see what’s in front of us. Here are some of the many promises of God:
1. If we search for Him, we will find Him (Deuteronomy 4:29). He is near us whenever we pray to Him” (Deuteronomy 4:7).
2. He promises protection for His children (Psalm 121). He was the vigilant watchman over all of Israel.
3. God promises that His love will never fail (1 Chronicles 16:34). He is faithful in every way.
4. God promises salvation to all who believe in His Son (Romans 1:16–17). The gift of God’s salvation is FREE.
5. He promises that all things will work out for our good. (Romans 8:28).
6. God promises comfort in our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3–4). He has a plan, and one day we will be able to share our testimony.
7. God promises to finish the work He started in us, and He will be sure to complete it. (Philippians 1:6).
8. God promises peace when we pray (Philippians 4:6–7). His peace is protection.
9. God promises to supply our needs (Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:19). Not that we get everything we want, but our needs will be taken care of.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
